Business Monitor Latin America


This UPS Business Monitor Latin America (BMLA), now in its sixth edition, provides an outlook on the existing, attitudes and trends among more than 800 business leaders of small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) across seven countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The results of this study are based on the solid experience of the interviewees in the world of industry and trade.

The objective of the BMLA is to provide business executives and professionals alike with a better understanding of the factors driving business decisions and strategies in Latin America. This study covers the main issues that affect business executives: from the impact of the recent financial crisis and its recovery, to the business and global trade environment, to environmental matters, among others. It measures the pulse of SMEs, identifies their investment priorities and the obstacles they are facing.

The BMLA is an important information resource to help existing and potential UPS customers stay ahead of ever-changing business trends, as well as a tool to better position the UPS brand as a thought leader in the business ecosystem.
