Overview:
UPS provides one of the widest portfolios of ground shipping choices in the domestic market, whether a customer needs to send a package, a heavy pallet (LTL) or a full truckload (TL) of freight. UPS Freight operates as a regional, interregional and long-haul carrier of palletized and non-palletized freight shipments across the U.S. and into Canada and Mexico. UPS Freight LTL shipments are backed by a day-definite, on-time guarantee at no additional cost and supported by advanced Web-based visibility, processing and billing technology.

UPS Freight (ground) Offerings:
UPS Freight continues to optimize its delivery network, enhance its service portfolio, invest in assets, people and technology, and synchronize UPS Freight with the global operations and performance of UPS’s small package and logistics/distribution services.

  • Truckload (TL): UPS Freight Truckload offers a complete range of options including dedicated contract carriage, dry van and flatbed transactional services, expedited intermodal and temperature control movements, as well as truckload brokerage services.
  • Less-Than-Truckload (LTL): For companies who don’t have enough volume to fill an entire truck, UPS offers LTL services across its entire ground network. Customers can combine their LTL service with any UPS small package or logistics/distribution offering.
