UPS Receives Supplier Gold Award for Third Consecutive Year
UPS (NYSE: UPS) received the prestigious United Technologies Corporation (UTC) Supplier Gold award. UPS is the only global transportation and logistics company to receive the highest possible supplier rating from UTC for three consecutive years. UPS received the award for excellence in performance in the Logistics and Distribution segment.
UPS Supply Chain Solutions has managed Pratt & Whitney's Georgia Distribution Center located in Atlanta since 2004. UPS ships engine parts all over the world for Pratt & Whitney, a maker of commercial and military aircraft engines.

UTC awards suppliers and partners who achieve and maintain best in class delivery and quality along with the highest levels of customer satisfaction. UPS was recognized for performing at the highest possible level for the past twelve months. Two examples are 99 percent on time delivery and exceptional quality performance for shipping accuracy.
