Region sponsors photo contest for Global Volunteer Week
This year, the UPS Europe Region organized a photo contest in conjunction with Global Volunteer Week. Many inspiring entries were received from a variety of countries, including Belgium, UAE, South Africa, Italy and Spain.

The winning picture was taken by volunteers of the Hanover Hub in Germany. They will receive 1,000 EUR for the charity Lebenshilfe. The photo was prepared by Derek Smailes, who is consistently a winner because of his creativity and quality of picture arrangements. |

The second prize was awarded to Spain, winning 500 EUR for the charity TRES OLIVOS Foundation, a school for deaf people. |

South Africa received the third place prize, also winning 500 EUR for Ithembelihle LSEN School, a charity for the mentally and physically disabled. |
